Visie
Dit is die VCSV se visie om ’n nuwe generasie na ’n nuwe lewenstyl in Christus te begelei.
Missiestelling
Die VCSV bestaan as deel van die liggaam van Christus om God te verheerlik en in die krag van die Heilige Gees
- nuwe leierskap te ontwikkel wat die samelewing beïnvloed deur dienend Christelike leierskapswaardes uit te leef in mentorverhoudings;
- ’n nuwe generasie te bou wat aktief streef na versoening in Christus en wedersydse begrip binne die realiteit van ons diverse samelewing;
- nuwe lewe te bring deur die evangelie van Christus te deel, jongmense te begelei tot geloofskeuses en sy dissipels te koester;
- ’n nuwe kultuur te vestig deur die Koninkryk van God te laat kom in die harte en lewens van dié wat saam met ons reis op die lewenspad.
Om dit te doen skep die VCSV lewensveranderende ervarings vir jongmense deur ’n verskeidenheid programme en projekte.Ons wil dit bereik met die ondersteuning van:
- strategiese, visioenêre en professionele bestuur;
- toegewyde, opgeleide en gemotiveerde personeel;
- funksionele en koste-effektiewe fasiliteite;
- doelmatige finansiële en fondsontwikkelingstrategieë.

Die simboliek van ons logo:
1. Die kruis oor die ronde bal: dit is ons belydenis dat Jesus se Koningskap oor die hele aarde strek en dat ons Hom wil toelaat om Koning oor ons hele lewe te wees;
2. Die ronde bal: dit is die eenheid van Christene regoor die wêreld – ’n wêreld waarin daar baie groot nood is;
3. Die strepies in die bal: dit laat ons aan die groot verskeidenheid in die Liggaam van Christus dink;
4. Die pyle: dit simboliseer die 180 grade omdraai wanneer Jesus mens se lewe omkeer. Die een pyl is ons omkeer na Christus en strewe om meer en meer soos Hy te word, die ander ons uitbeweeg om te dien in die wêreld met al sy nood.
5. Die lang kruis in stippels op die agtergrond simboliseer die Woord wat vlees geword het sodat ons deur Hom verlos kan word.
Vision
It is UCSA’s vision to guide a new generation to a new lifestyle in Christ.
Mission statement
UCSA exists as part of the Body of Christ to glorify God and by the power of the Holy Spirit to
- develop new leadership that impacts others by exhibiting Christian leadership values through serving in mentoring relationships;
- build a new generation that actively strives towards reconciliation in Christ and mutual understanding in the reality of our diverse society;
- bring new life by sharing the Gospel of Christ, leading young people to faith commitments and nurturing his disciples;
- establish a new culture by letting the Kingdom of God come to the hearts and lives of those who journey with us through life.
To achieve this UCSA passionately creates life-transforming experiences for young people through a variety of programmes and projects. We will accomplish this with the support of:
- Management that is strategic, visionary, and professional;
- Staff who are committed, trained and motivated;
- Facilities that are functional and cost-effective;
- Appropriate financial and fundraising strategies.

Symbolism of our logo
1. The cross on the round ball: We confess that Jesus is the Lord of the whole world and we ask Him to be the King in our lives.
2. The round ball: Christians’ unity across the world – a world in which there is great need.
3. Lines across the ball: We are part of the great diversity in the body of Christ.
4. Arrows: When Jesus enters a person’s life, there is a 180° turn-about. On the one hand, we turn to Christ and strive to become like Him, on the other hand we turn to the world and its needs.
5. The cross in the background: The Word has become flesh so that we can be saved and enjoy eternal life.
