Uitsig (Strandfontein)

The UCSA Uitsig camp centre is located in the village of Strandfontein on South Africa’s West Coast, about 25 km from Lutzville (not to be confused with the Strandfontein seaside resort near Muizenberg, Cape Town). The centre’s facilities include modern accommodation, a kitchen, a hall, and a chapel, while its location offers a lovely view over the Atlantic Ocean.

Outdoor activities include a stroll or hike along Strandfontein’s long, white sandy beach or along a number of hiking trails. Mountain bike trails and a wide variety of water sports activities are available, while a tidal pool and a children’s playground serve as a safe space where the outdoors can be enjoyed.

The centre is ideal for youth, church, school and other groups, as well as for conferences, weddings and other events.
